Created collaboratively with Sarasota County librarians and architects, this Mid-Century Modern inspired children’s area – along with a dedicated teen space – complements the existing building’s personality and provides educational interactive gaming for the library’s younger visitors. The children’s area features a magic digital painting cart where up to three painters can simultaneously create original works of art.
TO REMAIN RELEVANT, LIBRARIES ARE CONSTANTLY HAVING TO REINVENT THEMSELVES. PROMOTING COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT BY CREATING ATTRACTIVE DESTINATION SPACES IS CRUCIAL TO THEIR SURVIVAL.
