GULF GATE PUBLIC LIBRARY

Created collaboratively with Sarasota County librarians and architects, this Mid-Century Modern inspired children’s area – along with a dedicated teen space ­– complements the existing building’s personality and provides educational interactive gaming for the library’s younger visitors. The children’s area features a magic digital painting cart where up to three painters can simultaneously create original works of art.

LIBRARIES ARE REINVENTING THEMSELVES IN ORDER TO REMAIN RELEVANT. THE CREATION OF NEW SPACES THAT ATTRACT COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND CREATE A DESTINATION IS ESSENTIAL TO THE FUTURE OF LIBRARIES.
